Ok, computer is back. Video Game edition.
After spending a bit of money, reinstalling tons of software and restoring all my data, I am back online. And I intend to use this new machine for playing lots of video games!
I am a BF2 junkie, but I also just bought the Half-Life series so I can play Counter-Strike. I have Quake III arena, and was thinking of getting AlienVPredator. I also like the idea of getting Flight Simulator, I always loved that as a kid. I don't know what else I am going to buy, my time is still fairly limited because I have little children. :) I am staying with games that you can play online, as my little cadre of online Lego friends are the onew responsible for getting me hooked. I figure playing video games alone is going to be like drinking alone.
I gotta get my brother back into games, also. He's really ultimately responsible, by buying me Age of Mythology for my birthday, when he knows he's just supposed to buy me Legos! (His wife refuses to add to that habit, however.) I tried to play it the other day, and I guess I will have some catching up to do, as I really forgot what to do. I am sure it will come back to me eventually.
Ok, that's enough to push the old whiny post down a few lines.
